What does this product do and what is it's benefit?

This CCV Upgrade Kit replaces the Oil Filler Neck & black plastic CCV box located on the drivers side top of engine bay. 

The factory black plastic CCV box can crack over time, leading to leaks and potentially oil blanketed over the engine bay. 

Benefits:

• Oil Fill Relocation - For easier oil changes with large oil jugs.


• Baffled CCV Block - For oil removal from the CCV hoses. 

This helps keep the engine breathing properly, removes the non-serviceable factory CCV System, and offers a separated oil fill stand pipe in an easier location. 

Designed and developed from necessity for these L5P Duramax Engines. 

 

*Screw/Bolt Extractor is needed to remove the 4 factory screws holding the factory CCV block. Recommend investing in this kit from Harbor Freight for your toolbox. Link here
