In order to start tuning your GM (Global B) vehicle’s T93 TCM (10-speed transmission), it must be upgraded to accept tunes using VCM Suite (BETA) software. This controller can be found in the following vehicles:
This one-time service upgrades your original T93 TCM that’s returning to the same vehicle it came from. Our expert team will perform the TCM upgrade without pre-programming it with a VIN. Users must physically remove the T93 TCM from their vehicle and ship it to HP Tuners’ headquarters for servicing. Once upgraded, users have full access to calibrate, log, and scan via the OBDII port.

Note: Universal Credits for licensing are not included in the cost of any upgrade service or purchase. Credits must be purchased separately.
Step 1: Once you’ve confirmed your vehicle’s support, purchase this upgrade service. Make sure you have an MPVI3 or MPVI4 interface.
Step 2: After placing your order with the necessary information, see the “Shipping” tab for a shipping form and address. Fill out and print this form to place in your shipping box. You will also receive an email immediately after placing your order with this shipping form and address.
Step 3: Remove the TCM from your vehicle and safely package it. Then, package your TCM safely with the shipping form.
Step 4: Write your order number on the outside of the shipping box.
Step 5: Ship your TCM to HP Tuners using any carrier you prefer. The shipping address can be found on this page and in the email discussed in Step 2. Shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.
Step 6: HP Tuners will upgrade and/or program your TCM for tuning and diagnostics. Then, we’ll ship it back to you.
Step 7: Once you receive your upgraded TCM, install it back into your vehicle. Then, license the upgraded T93 TCM by purchasing [4] Universal Credits (sold separately). Once licensed, we recommend that you first connect to the latest version of VCM Scanner and read/clear DTCs. Then, start tuning with your MPVI3 or MPVI4 interface and the latest version of VCM Suite BETA.
